Ok, enough weirdness. Below you will find the link to Farley's currently.
Listening- we started a Harry Potter marathon during Halloween but ran out of time. So, we are finishing the marathon and we have 2 movies left. I am so obsessed with HP that I have actually gone to the London behind the scenes/making of HP tour. It was amazing...I cried a little. My kids and hubby weren't as amazed but they liked it. They did it for me though. :)
Loving- I posted earlier about my new boots from Dillard's after Christmas sale. Oh my, I wore them the other day and love them even more. They are actually comfy too!
Thinking- it makes me stress a little about all the stuff I have to get done before we head back to school. Sigh. Always so much to get done!
Wanting- please, someone help me stop eating all the yummy cookies!!!!! We don't have junk in the house often...because I have no self control... no really I don't. I should throw them all away, but they are just so yummy.
Needing- I need to get all my papers in order since I did a bit of "stuff and go" toward the end of Dec, right before break. So, I need to go through it all and get it back in order.
Yes, maybe, wish- 1st two are self explanatory but I really have had a hard time getting any products made this year. New school, new everything, lots to do and no time left for anything but teaching. This makes it tricky to get TpT on the to do list. So, my thought is that I will get back in the swing during summer. I already have a LONG list started for summer and it's pretty far away. Yikes.
Happy New Year everyone and may your January be amazing!
Very cute boots!
ReplyDeleteAnd I hear ya on the cookies. We made a bunch and gave a lot to family, but they are still tempting me from the kitchen.
Love your boots! I got a pair for my birthday and I am obsessed with them. Have you been to Harry Potter World in Universal Studios? It's so cool! I don't recommend the ride, but walking around is pretty awesome.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!

The Colorful Apple
Oh yes, I've been but it was before it expanded. I loved it and had fun drinking butter beer- even though it was way too sweet. I really wanted to get a wand from Ollivanders. Maybe next time.
DeleteI am a HUGE HP fan! I was lucky enough to be in London when the last book came back. I was standing in line at midnight to get my copy. I stayed up all night and into the evening to read the book.
ReplyDeleteDuring Read Across America day our school dresses up as our favorite book characters. Thanks to Etsy and Amazon I have a fantastic Hermione outfit. :)
Getting products on TPT is top on my list this year too. I'm having the same problem with being in a new grade and being confident enough in myself to create materials. I'm thinking if I dedicate 1-2 nights every week to work on TPT I might start seeing some progress. I have some fantastic teacher girlfriends and we've talked about having tpt nights. I'm thinking we can take turns bringing supper and then spend the night working away. Maybe that will work for you?
Best of luck to you in the New Year!!!

Wow, you were in London during the last book release....wow. I've dressed up like Professor McGonagall (class party this year during Halloween) but I really like Luna, she's so weird and funky.
DeleteThat's a great idea about getting together to make TpT products. Makes it more fun to accomplish when it's with friends. Thanks for the tip.
I love those boots!! They are super cute!! I got some new boots for Christmas too!! I also LOVE Harry Potter, but I haven't watched them in a long time! Maybe Spring Break will call for a marathon. I really want to reread the books too, but I know that takes a while too!! Finish those cookies, and then sign up for a 5K, you'll do great!! Best of luck in 2015, I am your newest follower!!

Ha, ha, I like the way you think. Cookies to 5K...now that's a plan I can do! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI am a crazy Harry Potter fan! Hubs and I went to the Harry Potter world in Universal when it opened in 2010, and then went to see the studio tour outside of London a couple years ago. I am a total HP fanatic!
ReplyDeleteI also have a running goal as my "maybe." Finding time to run is challenging with my little guy! I take him with me in the stroller when it is nice out, but I hate to take him out when the weather is yucky.
I'm a new follower, I found you through the currently link up. Happy New Year! :)

Caffeine and Lesson Plans
Can you believe I just read Harry Potter for the first time this year *blush*! I think it's a great thing for kids to experience, even if they don't realize that! :)
ReplyDeleteNot Just Child's Play
Amy, I love HP too. I actually read the first book on my honeymoon and was hooked! Now my kids are HP fans and one of our favorite random sayings when someone does something silly or weird is "You're a wizard, Harry."
ReplyDeleteI think I have finished all the cookies in my house so I should be eating healthier, but I'm not because I'm cooking all these comfort foods for dinner and eating the leftovers for lunch.
I hope we can get together sometime soon to just chat/hang out/create. Love your boots, BTW!
